Swiss chard dip

Cooked chard with tarator

Ingredients

Ingredients to cook the chard

  • Water
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 cups chard stalks, peeled and diced


Tahini sauce ingredients

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Boil the chard in salted water until tender
  2. Drain well and let it cool completely
  3. Combine all the tahini sauce ingredients in a bowl. Whisk well.
  4. Stir in the cold chard stalks.
  5. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary
